NO SCHOOL!

I am so so happy. And relieved. I had to finish writing and type out about three pages of handwriten stuff in the next 20 minutes. I had a dream last night that school was cancelled too. Crazy. Uhm...I'm not gonna go back to bed. Getting up early makes the day much more meaningful. *happydance*

Stuffs

Fun day. I sat at home all day and watched House and put lyrics on my spiffy new background. For some reason, I've felt compelled to keep track of how many times House takes his ever precious vicodin in each episode and at what time. Once I watch all of the first season, I think I'll make some kind of graph and/or chart. He takes it four times in the pilot--at 4:18, 10:10, 13:24, and 15:01. I've gone through episode seven so far. I absolutely adore all House's witty jibes and clever put downs.

IE 7 is stupid

I'm going to my class's fundraiser thing at Burger King tonight. We get a certain percentage of money people who mention the school pay from 4 to 8 tonight. After that, there're basketball games at Lake Ridge which is just down the road from there. The guys should definitely win. I'm recording the game for Bob because it was supposed to be icy and he lives in Cleveland and probably really shouldn't drive the 40 minutes or so it would take. I gave TJ and awesome pen tattoo that says "Jim & Pam Forever" in a heart. Only it was above his elbow and the heart is all lopsided and kinda crappy looking. It was snowing alot today, pretty much constantly. The air/ground wasn't cold enough though, so most of it on pavement melted. Bye.

SPOILER

The Office makes me happy. Dwight's back. Jim said yes. Michael hates Andy. (along with everyone else)

Hugh Laurie won a Golden Globe. Again. Winning twice in a row in the same category doesn't happen that often, does it? Sweet. His acceptance speech was cute/funny. The UK version of The Office is pretty cool. I've watched the first season and the Christmas Special things. Only two characters I like alot though are Gareth and Tim. Um... the fourth episode is my favorite. Free Love on the Free Love Freeway. My dad bought me the first season of The Office (US)! He told me at Christmas he was gonna get it for me. The extras are very neat. Did The Office win any Golden Globes? I must go check.

50K Racewalker is insane. I've gone 0.07k. Fun fun. WHOO!! I got home from school about two hours ago. There were four basketball games. JH girls, who lost miserably. JH boys. They won. Varsity girls lost pretty bad too. But not nearly as bad as the JH. VARSITY GUYS WON! They did really really well. Won by 20. Sam almost dunked a bunch of times. I could tell he really wanted to. Skitzomania's tomorrow! Which is this big-ish Hebron church youth thing where kids from youth groups put on skits or show videos and judges pick the best one in the humor and serious categories. The trophy for the serious category is a hippo's head, kinda mounted on a plaque. Humorous is a hippo butt. Last year, FBCS won the humorous category with this "interpretive dance" to Josh Groban's You Raise Me Up. It was so, so, so funny. Our title must be defended. And Pastor Dave said we can show the ER video which should definitely win. And our old Hall Monitor commercial thing. I'm excited. It's fun. The annual geography bee was today. There were ten kids, two each from 4-8 grade. It was SO PATHETIC. Nobody answered their question right the first round. Only one person got one right the second. So he was automatically in the championship round. The next round, little Matt Plog got his right. He's only in 4th grade. The answer was Brazil and the question said something about that it made up almost half of South America. There wasn't even enough time to finish the thing; every kid waited until their time'd run out, Mr. Spickler would ask them if they had an answer, and they'd say no. I think only one kid actually said anything before they were pushed to. It was horrible. I could tell Mr. Spickler was getting all depressed. He got less and less enthusiastic as the thing went on.

ummm

What do I have to say? Today was ok. We played bad minton-type stuff today, just hitting it back and forth to eachother. And red light, green light. I won twice! Somehow. I don't think I have very quick reactions. The ER doctor video is really almost done. Me and Bob and Jeremy and Mike made these stupid/funny credits at the end of random people. I cannot think of a single thing worthy of mention. So I guess that's it.

I had a dream the other day that consisted of Joseph hanging a huge wood thing from his house and then dropping it on his brother Jonathan, then my sister's junior high basketball team using guitars instead of a basketball during the game which kept getting stuck in the net, then me and Hugh Laurie and Jesse Spencer and Jennifer Morrison and some other girl in a canoe in a river and on wheels on a road. My mind is so screwy.
Happy New Year. Uh... Ok Go was on tv last night. They showed like 20 seconds of some song I don't know. Then later, they played Here It Goes Again. Of course. Are people not interested at all in anything else besides that one? Do What You Want woulda been cool. But I'm not complaining. Went over to my grandma's house yesterday in teh afternoon. Family reunion/gathering. It was cool. But then afterwards, we just went home and sat around until 12 and then my mom and dad and sister went to bed. It was stupid and boring. Hopefully today we'll either go to Abby and Jess's house or we all'll go to my other grandma's house. Franz Ferdinand is pretty cool.
